The White Gables restaurant in Moycullen, Co. Galway has launched a taxi service for customers which will run throughout the summer and into the winter.
Dinner guests will be treated to a taxi collection service from the door of the restaurant to their home, hotel or B&B, and White Gables will look after the fare.
“Dinner is always better with a lovely bottle of wine or bubbles. We want to ensure that our guests enjoy their evenings even more with us, so we thought, let’s take that stress away and provide a taxi service home,” says Anne Dunne of White Gables Restaurant.
Kevin and Anne have been running their restaurant for the past 25 years in Moycullen Village. Anne is Front of House while Kevin is in the kitchen. His cooking is traditional and focused around seafood.
The menu has stood the test of time, with flavour winning out over fashion. Signature dishes include scallops mornay and lobster thermidor, while duck a l’orange is one of the most popular meat-based options.
