A TRADITIONAL CÉILÍ has been organised for Culture Night in Moycullen. It will be held in the HALLA MÓR of SCOIL MHUIRE on Friday evening next 22 September at 7.30pm The All Ireland prizewinning group, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Mhaigh Cuilinn will play the music. We hope that everybody will come and enjoy the wonderful music and old set-dancing- Siege of Ennis, Staicín Eorna etc. Céilís are real community and family affairs.  Children love them. Everyone can take part.. Learn some steps and moves as you go. Entrance is free

Forbairt Phobail Mhaigh Cuilinn and Conradh na Gaeilge are working together to develop an  Irish language plan for Maigh Cuilinn.  As part of this process, research is being carried out to hear the thoughts of opinions of the community here and we would like as many people as possible to take part in the process.

Inaugural Moycullen Festival September 10th 1-5pm at Scoil Mhuire. There will be… Townland Tables, Local Food Stalls, Children’s Fancy Dress, Bonny Baby Competition, Live Music. Moycullen’s Local townlands are invited to organise tables to showcase their local area by getting their neighbours involved. The bakers, potters or artists. The ones who, knit, crochet or sew. The ones who grows the coolest plants or fancy vegetables are all invited to show their wares; with proceeds from sales going back into their townlands. During the afternoon, there will be lots of fun entertainment along with local food stalls and live music. Admission is free..
